CURRENT OPENINGS:

Temporary/Part-Time Marketing/Outreach Specialist

CLOSING DATE:        May 8, 2008 – 4:00 PM

Mason County Transportation Authority’s (MTA) Marketing/Outreach Specialist, under the direction of the Administrative Services Manager, develops and implements marketing goals, objectives and strategies including promoting and publicizing regular, new and special transit services; conceptualizes the content and design of promotional, informational and educational materials and assures their timely development, production and distribution; designs and produces a variety of other promotional and informational materials to publicize transit services; coordinates Agency advertising as well as other graphic materials which support Agency operations as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, public relations, communications or closely related field, and three years of increasingly responsible marketing, public relations and communications experience involving the design and production of informational and promotional materials, include experience in print, advertising and art media.

Status:    Temporary Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Wage:   Negotiable – DOE

*Safety sensitive is defined as any position within the agency that either operates or directs the operation of any transit vehicle, included but not limited to: Dispatch/Scheduler, Driver, Maintenance Manager, Mechanic, Detailer, Dispatch Supervisor, Road Supervisor, Trainer, Operations Manager and Field Services Representative.
