Planning & Development
MTA participates in many regional and local planning efforts. This includes everything from transit oriented development to economic development and regional transportation planning organization (RTPO) on local and regional levels. Our goal is to keep the citizens of Mason County informed on current events, both immediate and long range planning efforts, grant funding achievement, service developments and capital development. We make every attempt to provide planning information to our riders and other interested community members through the direction of the Mason Transit Authority Board of Directors and our interaction with local and regional media, our website and the public hearing process.
