Mason Transit Authority opened the new Transit-Community Center, located at 601 West Franklin Street, Shelton, Washington, on April 1, 2015 with over 450 Washingtonians attending the opening celebration.  This facility is the first of it’s kind in the nation, in that it co-locates a transit center and community center in the same location.  The Transit-Community Center is a central-hub of activity for the community and provides your customers with easy access to the services you may offer.  It is an ideal location for private, public, or non-profits that want to be in the heart of quaint downtown Shelton and accessible by car, public transit, bikes, or walking distance from local county and city government offices, shopping, restaurants, the library, schools, and other private business offices. It is also five minutes from Highway 101.  The Transit-Community Center features a gym & event space, conference room, commercial double teaching kitchen, a computer lab, public restrooms, a waiting area, transit and informational customer service lobby, program, office and retail space.
